The former Costa NeoRiviera underwent a major conversion in 2019 and was rebranded the AidaMira. Both brands are part of the Carnival Maritime group.

The conversion covered a full overhaul of the entire vessel, as well as rearranging several areas to accommodate for the 700 cabins onboard.

DEKC Maritime was contracted to offer support on the structural integrity in the modified areas, stability books, as well as support on the system and electrical design. The latter was conducted in cooperation with Eekels bv.
