DEKC Maritime started back in 1972 as a detail engineering department of Centraalstaal, and after several name changes from TE-central engineering to Engineering Centrum Groningen to Vuyk Engineering Groningen and CIG Maritime Technology became DEKC Maritime. Over the years the company developed from a detail engineering department to an independent knowledge center for the maritime industry in The Netherlands and abroad.

45 passionate naval architects, structural designers, detail engineers and mechanical engineers, organized in four departments, combine their experience and knowledge to find the best possible solution for every maritime challenge.
