The 4500 GC is one of the first of a new breed of sub-3000 GT general cargo vessels. Its single-hold concept, with a clear opening of approx. 58 x 12.65 m, facilitates the transport of a wide variety of goods such as bulk cargo, voluminous goods, and project cargo.
The 4500 GC has excellent stability in combination with the capability of reaching higher speeds than the competition, with both optional gear and ice class. This provides ship owners and charterers with a new workhorse for their transport requirements. Other variants of the 4500 GC include larger deckhouse options, higher engine power, higher cubic holds and ice-class variations.
